The Emmys are coming - what are your shows this year?
As a proud member of the Television Academy, it is always such an honor to vote for the Emmy nominations and awards. What shows and talent do you think deserve an Emmy this year?
I think Shōgun deserves an Emmy, Sam Sokolow. Also Hiroyuki Sanada for his role as Yoshii Toranaga, Cosmo Jarvis for his role as John Blackthorne, and Anna Sawai for her role as Toda Mariko.
I'm not really up to date on TV shows right now, but House of the Dragon and The Boys should be in the conversation. Antony Starr, Karl Urban (who gives his best performance in his career as Billy Butcher in my opinion), Paddy Considine, Emma d'Arcy... The rest of the crew for these shows. What more needs to be said?
I agree with Richard "RB" Botto - the bear, the bear, the bear. That show is written so well, acted brilliantly, and the cinematography is captivating.
Shows: Fallout! The Bear, always. Hacks, The Crown, Masters of Air, Last Week Tonight, The Jinx Part 2, Baby Reindeer, Lessons in Chemistry.
Talent: Walton Goggins (Fallout) Ella Purnell (Fallout), Tadanobu Asano (Shogun), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Michael Emerson (Fallout), Parker Posey (Mr. and Mrs. Smith), Jeremy Allen White (The Bear), Jean Smart (Hacks), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Ryan Gosling (SNL), Jamie Lee Curtis (The Bear), Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), Brie Larson (Lessons in Chemistry), Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air), Lily Gladstone (Under the Bridge).
Oh yeah, I almost forgot The Bear. Incredible performances from everyone involved, especially Jeremy Allen White and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Jon Bernthal's limited appearances are a blast every time.

"I'm a Virgo" deserves it more than anything else imho. Olivia Washington is one of the next great talents.

Methinks THE BEAR is going to have a big night again, even though I don't agree with it being in the comedy category.

I agree with you, Richard "RB" Botto - having THE BEAR, ABBOTT ELEMNTARY and HACKS all in the same lane makes my head spin.

Been meaning to add THE CURSE to my list, Pat Alexander. Your recommendation pushed me over the top.
