This has been a fascinating drama to watch... and I don't mean the actual series (which I love)... the back-and-forth between Coster, Sheridan, and Paramount has been nothing short of epic. And Costner just made it official that he's not returning for the final episodes. I will miss him in the show and can't wait to see how they orchestrate his absence as the writing is always top notch. What are your thoughts on this? https://deadline.com/2024/06/kevin-costner-not-returning-to-yellowstone-...

I'm planning to start the full binge of Yellowstone, now that I finally have a Peacock account. I've been sleeping on it for far too long, Sam Sokolow.

It's definitely been quite the saga! I'm sad to hear Costner won't be returning, as his presence has been such a cornerstone of the show. It will be interesting to see how the writers handle his absence.. I'm sure they'll come up with something compelling, but it won't be the same without him.

Yes it’s been an awesome series to watch and the script is amazing. I am looking to audition for Yellowstone either in a short speaking part or in a support role. With Kevin Costner's departure, I think producers should have John Dutton uncover a plot threatening his family and the ranch, leading to a climactic confrontation. In a heroic act, John sacrifices himself to ensure their gun safety. His final moments, filled with poignant flashbacks, highlight his legacy. The Dutton family then rallies together to fill the void and continue his legacy. Any thoughts on this? This approach is critical to maintaining the show’s dramatic integrity and honoring the character and their impact.

They have been focusing so much on Beth and Rip in the last few seasons. I wonder if they even come close to sticking the landing here.
