July Filmmaking Club: Objectives & Aspirations

I'll begin simple with saying I'm presently working on another poster artwork to be soon completed. Also in perspective for this month is the hopeful completion of a trailer for one of my short films, "The World Of Thought, Perception & Creativity", which is already entered for a competition advertised here on stage 32. My intentions of course to extend to a feature and just plain have fun. Eventually my film is to be followed by two sequels (despite the names) one of which is already a short. The third "Dimension", is already in the making! I've seen the other goals of so many other fellow creatives and I marvel at the spirit and vigor approached! Wish you the best!

Sam Sokolow

Hi Eon C. Rambally - these are great July Filmmaking Club goals. Can you share what "The World Of Thought, Perception & Creativity" is about?

Eon C. Rambally

Sam Sokolow, thanks and you're welcome! A Thriller, Mystery genre, it begins with the way thoughts “evolve” from being considered energy, to subatomic particles, to our visible world and reality! From the world of filmmaking, (briefly) the way a film is created or produced to music and more, intended design to fascinate the mind. Then “Creativity” and theme, continues with depth in storyline and composition throughout the film

For example, in one of the scenes I featured "in animation", a male character dialogue to a female character, (regular clothing) quote: “I feel I don’t belong anywhere”, then changes costuming using “special effects” to a “super hero’s” design (same scene and quote or dialogue) but the message or “Perception” is obviously different “just by the change in costuming”, captivating a young audience and as said continues.

Supposed to have some appeal to new filmmakers and of course filmmakers and "Creatives" in general!
