Hi Yair Avivi. I'm the CEO of Stage 32, but yes, as a screenwriter, I have pitched here over the last 13 years. Done both verbal and written. I personally prefer verbal, but it's the writer's choice.
Hi Richard, Given your extensive experience with both verbal and written pitches, could you share a unique or unconventional technique you've used or witnessed that significantly enhanced a pitch's effectiveness?
Nothing unconventional, Yair Avivi . Just repetitive processes that have worked for me. I always lead my pitch by telling a small bit about my experience, my rep, the title and genre of my pitch and include somewhere within my "why" of writing the script. All that can happen in 20-30 seconds and then I'm fully into the pitch. I make sure I wrap up in 4-5 minutes to leave 3-4 minutes for Q&A.
Thank you for your suggestions. I reached out to the Success Team at success@stage32.com with details about my screenplay 2 days ago, but I haven't received a response yet. Could you please advise me on the next steps?
