About Rodrigo

Director and screenwriter from Porto Alegre. Rodrigo Portela has already written and directed the short films "CONTINUITY" (1997) prize for creativity at the XXX Festival in Brasília, "JUST SOME SCENES TO SHOW YOU" (2000) winner of several awards throughout Brazil and guest for the "For a Better World" showing " from Rock in Rio in 2001. RANGO (2007) was selected for festivals in Brazil and abroad. REFLECTION (2017) has already been selected in a dozen festivals, both in Brazil and in countries such as the United States, Russia and Italy. Rodrigo was co-writer of the feature film "Night of Saint John" (2003), by Sérgio Silva. He was invited by Casa de Cinema to direct the series "What work is this?" (2006) for Canal Futura. He currently directs films for advertising and cinema and released his first feature film, "Plauto - A Musical Whisper", which was released at the 47th Festival in Gramado.
