July Filmmakers Club was on FIRE!!

On our last day of July, I wanted to celebrate what an amazing month it was here! So much informations through blogs and posts and AMAs and Instagram lives and so much more!

This photo of me is one of my favorite and thought it showed what kind of teamwork it takes on set. This is from Reno 911! - Miami. The scene took place on a bridge (that we had to shut down), we put a helicopter and an ice cream truck, the main cast plus more. It involved so many departments - locations had to get Miami to approve us blowing up something on the bridge and get all the permits, Special Effects had to set it up, get permits and plan for this fireball safely, the cast/stunts had to prepare where they could be safely. The production staff had to lock up on and below the bridge to keep it clear and safe, grips had to set up safety areas and so much more to get this one shot. Because the directors were also cast members, I was in charge of checking on everyone being ready, making sure everyone was in correct place to be safe, making sure radios were working, fire people were ready - and then also because directors were in the cast, I called Rolling and Action. Once the shot was done, we called cut, Special Effects and Stunts made sure the fire was out and everyone was safe. And then the applause. :) Every department was involved, performing at the top of their game. I do not remember who took this picture of me but I'm sure glad it was captured.

Congrats to everyone involved in July Filmmakers Club and special shout out to Ashley, rock star!

Reno 911! is hilarious! I still need to see Reno 911! - Miami. Glad to hear that you and the departments were so big on safety on set!
