I started a new screenplay, called Inside reach, back in September 2023 then returned to it in August 2024. A psychological thriller, it follows the main character, Jack Corral, who shares an apartment with four others (Annette, Lizzy, Rees and Simon) of differing character. When meeting and falling in love with Amy Lee, tension builds among the flatmates who see Amy as a threat to their way of life, instigated by photographer Annette. With a darkroom in the apartment, each of the characters are drawn into this room, except for Jack, who finds himself alienated from the others. Meanwhile, having rescued a child from a burning tenement, Jack is approached by RTV reporter Brendan Clements to give an interview but requesting anonymity, the reporter's suspicions are aroused. Into the mix appears a government agent, with the moniker KP, who informs him that Amy is working for them and her life is in danger by assassin Garret Tensh (The Stranger).
