I'm a screenwriter and producer, currently writing a screenplay based on a memoir. Hopefully finishing it up this weekend - it's been a bear to write, but I'm feeling good about it. I'm also producing a film I wrote last year. We were scheduled to shoot this summer, but things fell through, so we've pushed it to next spring. I also have a streaming TV series based on an historic music icon that I've pushed to the back burner until I get a couple of features under my belt. The TV show is very ambitious and it became clear that I would need a little more "cred" to pull that one off. I love seeing all the creative projects everyone is doing on here.

Maureen, that sounds great! Little bit in the same sitution. My fantasy series is in production as animated series, further in delay with the shooting of my story about life with dementia. Also wrote a Scientific Fantasy Drama with Climate Change content looking for producers. Best luck for your projects!

Sam Robson thank you! The film I'm writing right now is based on a memoir by a Vietnamese woman who lost her parents in the war when she was just 4 years old and has to navigate her way through a poor, war-torn country as an orphan that no one wants. I love this angle because most Vietnam movies are from the point of view of soldiers fighting in the war, but this is the POV of the people who live in the middle of these countries and how they have to live among the fall-out of conflict. The streaming series is about the life of French singer, Edith Piaf. It covers her life from cradle to grave and every day of this woman's life was fascinating!
