About Todd

Where do great stories come from? C'mon - who can answer that? But I do believe that life experience is the seed from which all good stories grow. Not stories ABOUT those experiences necessarily, but they are what shape who we are and how we think. My life experiences are quite varied: a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a fireman, a police officer, a business guy, a leader of a social-profit org, a trainer in the neuroscience of toxic stress, and a writer since I was 15 years old! From those roles have come many deep, funny, crazy, terrible, and amazing life experiences.

I currently have a feature screenplay about America's first female astronaut-in-training. Now, you might think of Sally Ride, but you'd be wrong! It was actually 1960, way before Sally Ride, way before the Space Shuttle, and way before Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the moon! In fact, she was flying before NASA existed! She was our nation's first female training to be an astronaut, and just think... you've probably never heard of her! It's time her story is vividly and visually told on screens everywhere... big and small! That's why I wrote it!

I'm here on Stage 32 because (like you) I want to advance myself as a writer; advance my writing career; and, advance the deep well of great stories I have to tell.

If you have an interest in exploring how we might collaborate, contact me! You never know where it might lead!
