Hello! I wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in joining a writers' group with me and another Stage32 member. We would be meeting virtually at 5:30 PM PST on Wednesdays.
We plan to share scripts, help one another with advice and feedback, and keep each other motivated on our writing journey.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I'm already in a weekly group on Tuesday evenings and can't do one every night :/ but people should jump in here! Could be a fun way to connect with more writers and read some great scripts!

I already have a group on Wednesday. We typically read 10 pages of 4 to 5 scripts from the group members then provide feedback on those pages. Northwest Screen Writer's Guild. We start at 6:00pm to gather and chat then reads start at 6:30pm. I can reach out to the people that run it if you want to participate so you can have ideas for your group.

Hey Jody Parker - this is a great initiative! Have you heard of the Stage 32 Writers' Room by chance? There are a ton of Stage 32 members who meet regularly multiple times a week - with Wednesday being the main webcast/social time. Jason, how many people attent a writing room zoom meeting on average to discuss screenplays and possible assignments? Is there enough time for everyone to make their points on camera, not just texting? Is there enough time for everybody to get at least 6 minutes of (devided) speaking time?

Hi Jody - good luck with your group. just came across your post today as I am looking for a screenwriters online group. I'm interested in swapping complete scripts with a group for some general feedback. How is the group going?I belong to an online Zoom group based in the UK. They post 1- 2 selected complete scripts for discussion every month 2 weeks before a zoom meeting and then members (about 6 - 12 turn up) do one round of a max of 3 things they liked about the script and then a second round of max 3 thigs they didn't and then a gen conversation.each monthly meeting lasts 2 hours. It's a good group but there's no discussion about process which I would be interested in.
