Thanks to STAGE 32 and everyone here that bolsters our courage to keep writing. My show the "WRENCHHEADS is nearly ready to shoot the pilot episode. I am excited to see it actually coming to fruition. I couldn't have done it without all of my friends here.

Geoff Hall

Congratulations, Lee Shargel nice one, mate.

Lee Shargel

Thanks, Geoff!

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on the pilot being nearly ready to shoot, Lee Shargel! I can't wait to watch it! I remember you talking about your series in posts and blogs on Stage 32, and I remember you pitched it during a Pitch Practice.

D A Stenard

I hate to be the fly in the pumpkin pie. I did an apparently perfect pitch on Sunday. The producer and I connected, she liked what I was saying, we talked a little. Her request said that she was interested in Christmas films. Which is what I pitched. I got my feedback today. A PERFECT PITCH. All 5's. I've never had that before. And she STILL gave me a pass. I will pull myself up by my bootstraps and keep on going. But I just was a little bummed. I do not want to rain on anyone else's parade, honestly. Thank you for listening.

Ashley Renee Smith

Incredible! Congratulations, everyone!

Alejandro Marello

congratulations!!! the immense pride and satisfaction you must feel must be immense.

Jack Binder

Congratulations!! Bravo!!

D A Stenard - that doesn't compute. 5/5 = a pass? Then what does it take to get someone over the line? A 10/5?

Lee Shargel

Hey STADE32ers! and D A. Don't be dismayed by a pass. You never really know the reason for why someone would pass a script they seemed too really like. Believe me I have enough rejections of my own. I may have been disgruntled, but I always got over it and kept on plugging. I believe I am a very good screenwriter and author, and I have the creds to prove it. But in the final analysis, if you let it stop your momentum, you're making a big mistake. Keep on truckin!

Sandra Isabel Correia

I am so happy and thrilled:)) After eleven months I began to write my debut screenplay SOUL MATED and this new adventure in the Industry without any experience, I got two script requests and now the first Meeting! I never imagined this could happen so fast. The future, now isn’t important because it’s a day-by-day journey, but I am enjoying the ride a lot :)) Thank you Stage 32, thank you Kay Ross, thank you Alexia Melochi and my specials Ashley Renee Smith Maurice Vaughan and Geoff Hall

D A Stenard - Did they atleast say why they passed? There was one I scored 5/5 in all but 2 categories, those got 4/5, but the producer still explained it was just to big of a project for her. I've gotten that "I loved it, would watch it, but I can't do it" responses a few times. It does get pretty frustrating.

Sandra Isabel Correia

D A Stenard Don't give up. You will find the perfect match for you. I also had a pitch that was perfect—all 5—and the producer told me he loved it, but he was looking for horror and not female-driven. I move on. Sometimes this happens. I also had a four-pitching session. Two requested, two passed. One of the producers said it's the most unique and amazing story she heard in her professional life, but for her, my target audience doesn't have traction. I know my target audience has lots of traction, but its the producer vision, and I respect that. Keep going, you'll find it!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Sandra Isabel Correia. Congratulations! Hope you continue having success!
