I started working on this November 5th (exactly) and it has truly been a labour (Canadian spelling :) "of something"... Just excited to get this out there and as usual, whatever happens, happens... I will be focused on my next thing...
Worked to channel my Jordan Peele with my metaphor for AI to reflect the current climate, specifically the "carrot stick" that never delivers, the fragmented relationships, and people acting against their best interests. But ultimately the hope to create a better and new reality.
When a billionaire’s AI generated world is introduced as the cure to all of society’s problems, a resourceful mother flees with her children for a safe community before the rogue computer causes its complete collapse.
Starting to query and pitch this as we speak., though I understand there just aren't enough "AI scripts" out there :)
Hey, Wendy Appelbaum. There's a lot of scripts about AI out there, but I think yours will stand out. Your script has a unique concept and meanings people can relate to. Hope a producer scoops up your script!
