Congratulations, Geoff Hall ! That's a big deal, and I think more and more film productions will be international co-productions in the future, because of tax incentives and a way to spread risk.
Congratulations Geoff Hall and it’s so good to see your evolution and accomplishments. I know everything takes dedication, resilience, perseverance and all the steps you are giving, you will be rewarded for that! It’s beautiful to see it!
Congratulations, Geoff Hall. I'm thinking about taking a course or training about the technical approach of film music. (I'm a musician, but I'm not that good in recording). Do you have any recommendations?
William Joseph Hill thank you William. That was my thought, especially as we are now looking at Seeing Rachel and the possibility of an international co-production.
That's awesome, Geoff Hall - great work! Max Joyfield - shoot me an email directly at certification@stage32.com and I can recommend the best certifictaion course for you or help you in any way. I look forward to hearing from you.
Congratulations, Geoff Hall! That’s such an incredible accomplishment and a huge step forward for you as a producer. It’s always inspiring to see creatives investing in their growth and building the skills that will open new doors for future projects.
Geoff Hall it's this comedy about a factory worker from basically Slovenia and is fed up with not having any money or job prospects, so he creates a fake rock band with a couple of his buddies in order to get a US visa, so that they can go and work for his uncle installing air conditioners. With all kinds of stupid and crazy stuff happening in between. I hope we can pull it off without a budget. Currently the biggest problem is getting some donations to cover transportation costs and finding a way to shoot at an airport without having to pay a lot.
Sydney S thanks Sydney. It’s good to hear back from you. Wow, you mentioned the S word and I don’t mean Spring! The high temperature here tomorrow is 12 Degrees C, so we’ve a long way to go for Summer to be even talked about! ;-) Stay well and be chilled.
Vital Butinar that sounds like a fun ride, Vital. I love the sound of a fake rock band. I wish you well with the project. Are you going to go the crowdfunding way for the finance?
Geoff Hall well we currently have no budget to speak off, just a bunch of people that are willing to work together and make a movie. But we are looking in to trying to find some sponsors or donors and we're also looking at crowd funding. To cover transportation costs and craft services. The locations I think we can get for free, but I am worried about how we're going to get an airport. Supposedly we've already secured a plane to shoot on.
The story is a crazy one, I was told a short story about something crazy like this and the entire story just flashed in front of my eyes. So we're doing this crazy comedy, it's a rags to riches story, except the riches is the guy installing AC units instead of making them in a factory. But he's happy. :)
Vital Butinar well, if you have a bunch of people willing to make the movie, that’s a great plus. Are you thinking of sponsors from AC manufacturers and perhaps a local rock music radio station? Or even maybe release a single for the film for marketing purposes?
Anyway, keep all of us at Stage32 appraised of your progress.
