Introduce Yourself : Police captain and technical expert, novel and short story writer. by Neil Low

Neil Low

Police captain and technical expert, novel and short story writer.

I've commanded almost every segment possible at the Seattle Police Department and am currently writing noir murder mystery novels and short stories. My fifth novel in the Alan Stewart series, set in 1940s Seattle, will be released shortly. All my novels involve true cases, including the Lindbergh Kidnapping and several local Seattle murders that drew national news during their day. I've just written an edgy short story set in real times, dealing with Occupy Cities Movement and the Department of Justice versus the local police department, which I'll soon be shopping for magazine publication. I'm a technical expert on police work, and I lead the Seattle Murder Mystery Tour through Pioneer Square during the warmer summer months.

Neil, as someone who has friends who are officers, I can only imagine the stories you have to tell. And as leader of the Seattle Murder Mystery Tour, that only adds to it. Keep us posted on where we can read/see your work!

You can read more about my five novels on my website: http://neillow.com/ They're available for purchase there or through Amazon, with ebooks on Kindle, or they can be ordered through your local bookstore(s), Barnes and Noble, etc. I've had good reviews and recommendations from other authors, such as Lowen Clausen and Ann Rule, with flattering comparisons to noir writers of the 30s.
