Home at last...

My name is Robert Woods and I have traveled, lived and worked all over the World, starring in over fifty international features, many with my name above the title... see Wikipedia, IMDB, facebook, or use any search engine to go to: actorrobertwoodsfanpage/youtube (push the ‘videos’ icon on that site to see clips from at least forty of my films)… plus there are posters, photographs, footage(recent and past), many head-shots…and a relatively thorough bio on IMDBpro... I was one of the pioneers of Italy's Golden Age of Cinema's Spaghetti Western period…My initial Italian Western, ‘Arizona Gun’, was the first of that gender to be sold to America...(MGM)... and was the predecessor to Sergio Leone's ‘Dollar’ films that made Clint Eastwood into a major international star... I have been honored at the Venice and Torino Film Festivals for my body of work, as well as the recent 'First Annual Spaghetti Western Festival in Los Angeles'. Also during that illustrious and wonderful period, I was a singer/recording artist for Phillips/Fontana Records, in London {one of my records that brushed the charts, “I Wish It Would”, can be heard on the aforementioned robertwoodsfanpage site)…I played Henry Fonda's pilot, Joe Nicholson, in the classic film, 'Battle of the Bulge', Lindsay Wagner's first lover, Hank Sanders, in the mini-series, 'Scrupples' and Ginger's acting partner in, 'Rescue At Gilligan's Island'... Apart from acting and singing, I have worked as a producer, director and a screen-writer... My fan base spans the globe, from Europe to Africa, to the Far East to Russia... I am currently struggling to write a book about my life, travels and adventures called 'The Book Of Bob'... This year, I have been invited to receive an award and to judge the new western film entries, at 'The Third Annual Almeria Western Festival' in Tabernas, Spain, from October 2nd through the 5th... There is so much more to tell, but to reiterate...I am writing the book...
