Hello stage32! I am an as yet unproduced screenwriter working full time out of West Hills, California. I seem to place in all the big contests but have yet to catch on. I work as hard as I play and am currently bunkered up with a dramedy in progress about dementia, old west gunfighters and ghosts. Some times I think it's a matter of making sure the people who are really best suited to your specific work get to see it - like placing a well written magazine article - you got to get it to the right magazine. My experience is similar to yours. I tell myself, "writers write." Good luck!
