Hi Guys, Jessica Here. I'm a writer, director, actress, casting director, and teacher/coach. I often create comedic projects (or interesting mixes of genres), and especially love quirky characters and complex relationships. Since I was a young girl I've had an interest in writing, directing, and acting. I went to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where I studied acting and directing for theater. I also went to the Columbia Grad Film program, where I wrote, directed, and produced a strong body of film and TV projects. Many of my past projects have been honored in festivals and script contests. Since graduating from Columbia I've divided my time between writing, directing, and casting for film, TV, web series, commercials, and music videos (as both a writer and director for hire and on my own projects as well). I've also developed a strong passion for teaching and consulting actors and screenwriters. Recently one of the web series I was a staff writer for was optioned by a TV network. I'm currently in post production for a comedy web series I created and star in, as well as developing a new pilot and feature script.

Same here. Best wishes. We got your back!! Also comedies are the best!
Hi Jessica, So glad to hear you are into comedies with quirky characters. Have I got a Rom Com for you!
Do you have any plays that would be suitable for a small troupe in a small town? We enjoy doing comedy/melodrama that keeps our audience laughing. Our community is a small town in Central Texas with traditional values. We are looking for something to put on as a fundraiser for our library.
I would love to work with you,I need help on a couple of projects.
Randy - I'm working on a few projects myself but thanks for asking. Can you send me a message telling me more about what you're doing and what you need help with?
Karen- I'm a little confused what you're asking? Are you looking for a play or a film script?

Hi, Jessica. Welcome to Stage 32!
For you must preservere to the ened
Sounds like you have some cool things going on, very nice. Congrats on that.
Thanks, for adding me Jessica. Wish you prosperity in your endeavors. Peace
You sound fairly accomplished. Congratulations! I would love to parlay my amateur community acting into something more. Certainly getting equity status would help but I'm not geographically situated to capitalize on the kinds of productions that will earn me credit toward that. Someone with some knowledge told me to get an agent. Is that important? Are there legitimate website agencies? How do I go that route and know that I'm getting what I pay for? What should I expect? "So much time, so little to do." Sorry, I couldn't resist a favorite movie quote of mine. I do quirky well. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
