About Erica

Formerly a Metropolitan Opera violinist I've studied screenwriting with Linda Seger, and my screenplays have won awards in such competitions as the Writers Digest and Santa Fe. I've written screenplays for all three of my published novels, including my romance novel, Travels With My Lovers, which won the Fiction Prize in the Direct from the Author Book Awards, and my latest thriller novel that takes place at the Met Opera, Murder In The Pit. As a lecturer I've presented at conferences and libraries along the west coast, and have earned ‘top-rated’ lecturer status for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Unique traits: Having been a classical musician most of my life, at least thus far, I have my own unique perspective on the use of music in film. I'm happy to talk to folks about that!
