It's been an odd year of minor accomplishments. I've been "led astray" by a few other people's interests . . . not necessarily a bad thing . . . but indicative of my lack of focus on my own dreams. Getting too old for that kind of nonsense! I've directed a couple of short skits which I wrote in public festivals and a 24-hour short play project, started - then temporarily shut down while we re-evaluate direction - a theatre company. In 2014 the theatre company will be starting an acting/improv class (taught by someone much better qualified than me), and I'm committed to producing at least one of my own full-length plays. If not now, when? Hope all of your own dreams come true!

Lousiana! I'm inspired and impressed by your list of accomplishments for the year and plans for 2014. Why I love Stage32... you meet the most creative and productive people! Here's to an insane amount of success and satisfaction in the New Year.

Thanks for the good wishes, and the same to you and your projects!
Louisiana, I'm also inspired by your post. Last year was a great start to many things... and then a few lags. BTW, we are NEVER too old! Good luck on your new project.
Keep hope and the flame alive, I say--see how the so-called young and innovative no longer can keep their eyes on the (real) prize...only on their screens that keep them from seeing the dangers about to run them down?
Knee replacement surgery this week will slow me down for awhile, but I'm taking some projects with me to work on while I'm in rehab.
Rehab sucked! I called one of my daughters to un-imprison me and help me get home!

That sounds like a play right there.
