Could you please be a bit more specific? I'm eager to network - but it is not clear what you are proposing. Creating teams of what sort for projects of what kind for what purpose??
Meet and greets are normaly an evening event 7:30ish I think is fine. And what kind of projects?

Again - what do these meetings concern? What is their purpose? What are you planning to do? Did meetings of any kind even take place the past few Tuesdays?
The idea, Frank, is for members of the community to take their networking offline and meet face to face.
I agree with meeting but the time is too early most professionals in our community work another job. Just getting into NYC find parking etc. I must allow myself 2 hours . Especially during rush hour between 4 and 7 o'clock

I naturally assumed it was for the purpose of networking, but the intention stated is that "teams will be created for upcoming projects," as if there were a plan and a long-range goal. I also agree with Ernest -- 4 - 6PM is an awkward time. I'm sure evenings would be preferred by most.

I'd like to network with union film makers. Don't want to sound elitist, but I'd like to work with professionals and that does weed out shoe string, barely budget, non payed gigs.
