Hello everyone! I'm pretty new to this site, I joined about 36 hours ago, and I'm already extremely pleased with the networking opportunities and quick responses from everyone I've contacted. This really is a great tool for artists to come together and collaborate! I wanted to tell you all a bit about myself. I live in the Mid-West bouncing between my place in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and Melrose Park, Illinois. In doing so, I've worked on television, film, theater, and commercials, and am thinking about modeling if the opportunity presents itself. I love doing voice-over work but haven't done too much lately. I have been in the industry for 15 years now, working primarily with Christian theater companies, films, and a webseries which is underway. I have held many odd jobs during this time, and am pretty much a jack of all trades, so, it comes in handy when getting into character. I've worked as a technical writer and logistics head for Rockwell Automation, I've worked in Medical Research Logistics and Shipping, I've been a Barista at Starbucks, I've been a dry cleaner, I've owned a home remodeling business, a Videography business, I've been a bartender, I've worked in Marketing research, I've worked Hazmat, I've taught Kung-Fu to a highschool gym class for a few semesters, I have been a Lumberjack, literally cutting down and splitting trees (I know.. only in Wisconsin, Right?) and I've worked in Metal scrapping, was a Guitar Luthier, was in a Guns N' Roses tribute band as the lead singer (Axel) and have done dinner theater, Comedy Sportz, not to mention being a self taught mechanic and car enthusiast. I've done a lot in my time in and outside of our industry and the experience lends itself nicely to what we do. That said, I have played a doctor a few times, I've also played a bum, an alcoholic, a time traveler, an angel, Apostle John, a murderer, a marine, a foul mouthed boyfriend who spontaneously combusted, and Fitzwilliam Darcey in "Pride and Prejudice." All this to say, I can do character development, as well as method. I'd love to continue building relationships here, so feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or might be interested in using me for an upcoming project! Cheers!
