Darious, I'm not an actor, but everything you said made a lot of sense to me. Your logic and ways to minimize a lot of problems by avoiding over-directing was clear and pre-emptive. Thanks.

Hey D, just letting you know. I'm directing my fist short based on a feature that I wrote. I take the over directing thing seriously, at the same time trying to be mindful for those actors that want more direction. I'll get you a link to the short when we're done so you can judge for yourself!
