Hi, my name is Lukas! Like so many here i am a Filmmaker, the only problem is i'am from Austria... :S I've went to a Filmshool where I made some shorts, nothing special... after leaving there i bought myself a Arri SR2 with a lens kit and made a Short film called "Forgotten Oath", an ungraded Trailer is on Vimeo. We had major time Issues, so we had to rush important things that needed much more time. :/ Now 2 years have passed since i've made the Short, and i am preparing for my new Feature Lengt Project "Sotika", which i've written over the past years. Its in many ways the exact opposit of my short film. It has at least a Budget, and this time i will do everything, to get the time needed. Therefore I would need some passionate filmmakers, to make this possible and it seems here on stage 32 is the right place to seek. I spoke of living in Austria as a problem, because (for example) one aspect im looking for at the moment, is a DP who works with super 16, understands it and likes to shoot in urban areas at night (like subway stations and empty streets/low light) ... Austria isnt big and its hard to find someone who understands/shares the vision and likes to work under those conditions. (not that there aren't any dps in austria, you just have to find the right one i guess) That was a little inside in my filmmaking life at the moment and i have to say.. I am glad that i found this place! :D

Lukas, Hello from Portland Oregon. Lived in Wien for 8 years. Worked for what was known as the 'International Theater' on Muehlgasse(spelling?). They no longer exist. May I suggest, you look up Howard Nightengall on Facebook and contact him. He is not a camera man or DP but is quite connected and knows people who can help you with your project.
