Ellen Schoeters

, sensitive, truthful and free spirited.....Ellen was raised in a small town in Belgium. She grew up in a traditional kind of way where the values of having a good job were important. But Ellen was too free-spirited to follow these ideals and she took her time to figure out what she really wanted. She followed her heart, her dreams and her passions. She flew to LA to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and continued her training in the Netherlands with her Meisner teacher Paul Dekker. No matter how often her family told her to do something more stable, she stayed true to herself! Pursuing that, she discovered a lot about herself. She learned to let go of whatever is holding her back, to live in the moment and to respect other people's choices. Nature and connecting with her inner self is where she finds peace and inspiration. After graduating at the Lee Strasberg Institute and during her training with Paul Dekker, Ellen played different recurring roles in Flemish tv series such as Aspe, Code 37, Crimi Clowns, Ella, Mega Mindy, Familie, Thuis, .... and her film work includes a leading role in Weekend aan Zee, some shorts and her last work was the role of Lotus in the Dutch film The Escape.
