Anything Goes : Godzilla, reboot and audience by Tin Le

Godzilla, reboot and audience

I went to cinema to see Godzilla today. Quite honestly, it fails to deliver what it wants. Just like the 54s classic, it uses the teasing way to build up the story and your patience will pay off at the end. However, I think this method doesn't work specifically for reboot. When people heard of Godzilla for the first time, they were anticipated to see how the monster looked like. 60 years later, we're excited to know Godzilla will make it to the big screen again. You got it? Again. By now everyone is used to his appearance, so the old teasing method doesn't work anymore. It becomes a burden. We want to see something different. However, it leads to another problem: fan's rage. "It's not Godzilla this, it's not Godzilla that". Why rebooting movies? It doesn't make so much good thing. The original value could also be decreased. Why are they doing this?
