Hey all! I am a noob to the site, so I just want to give a huge hello to everyone! I started acting many years ago while in college, and I can honestly say that it is definitely what I want to do forever! I have a really fun personality--the bubbles in the champagne of life :). I have had the pleasure of playing a variety of roles from a domestic violence victim to a masked killer in a horror movie to an evil seductress! I am so passionate about what I do and intend to continue learning new skills for my resume. Growing as an actor is rewarding, and there is always something new to learn! I'm hoping to get an agent soon! If anyone has any advice, it is greatly appreciated ;). I love to dance and workout and be physically fit, but when I'm just relaxing, I love to read Dean Koontz and Stephen King and work on logic and crossword puzzles (my inner geek is really coming out lol). I am really excited to be here and meet other creatives and hopefully get to collaborate on some projects and form lasting professional and personal relationships!!!

Where are you located i.e. West Coast, East Coast, Midwest? What type of projects interest you and pay range? Just wondering if Chicago projects might work for you.
Hey Alan! I'm in the Midwest in a little town in Indiana, so the Chicago area jobs would work perfect for me! I've been doing mostly volunteer gigs to gain valuable experience, so I'm hoping to finally start getting some paid jobs, but any type of exposure is a step up. I've like a lot of different genres, so I am open to any role that challenges me. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Paisley, My time seems to be split between Chicago area and Indianapolis & Brown County, so I know Indiana. What have been your favorite roles and why? Where have you learned about the projects on your resume?
I absolutely love psychological movies--movies that really make you think! I love to do research in psychology as well as study people to learn different characters. I love creating characters that have layers as opposed to one-dimensional. I really, really LOVED playing Ingrid from Night of the Dolls! She was a scary, little girl-like killer who was downright creepy. But what I love most about what I do is that there are so many different genres where you can be anything. I would love to do more psychological thriller movies because it's my favorite genre, but I also love comedies, action movies, dramas, and horror flicks!
I've learned about these projects usually thru indianaactors.com and the Indiana Film commission. I've lived in South Carolina and Florida too, so some of my credits hail from those areas, but there was always a few websites I went to to find work.
Welcome aboard! New to the site & excited about it's potential.
Thanks Maurice! I'm so excited to be here! It's like Facebook for actors! I'm on Cloud 9!
Welcome and thanks for the connection!

Located Kokomo, have you thought about auditioning for stage plays in Indy? Commercials?

Hey Alan! Actually, I do have a good bit of credits to my name, and I'm working with a director friend of mine...Dan Murphy...to create a new reel for me off of the last few films I've done. I am completely open to performing in stage plays and commercials in Indy and was about to start checking with agencies to see if I can start getting sent to those type of jobs :).
