Alicia, if you just want something which formats your screenplay automatically then check out Celtx desktop which is free. The produced pdf's look identical to those created by Final Draft. https://www.celtx.com/desktop.html A lot of people are saying good things about Writer Duet too, which is also free. https://www.writerduet.com

I've used FadeIn Pro for a couple of years now and to me it seems almost invisible as I write.Once you "master" the six or seven Ctrl+ commands, it is as simple as breathing. Format is perfect & it exports in many formats, including FD. Only downside I've found is that the Android versionon my tablet is not as intuitive. ?Cost me around £40 if I remember correctly.
