Richard Toscan's radio dramas have been broadcast by the BBC (Radio One & World Service), the CBC (Canada), NPR (USA), and ABC (Australia), and he was an Armstrong Award nominee for his productions with Lucasfilm. He has worked with notable figures in film, theatre, and television. His stage plays have been produced in Los Angeles and presented in readings in New York and other cities. His plays have been recognized in a number of competitions and he was a finalist for the O'Neill Center's teleplay program. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the author of the handbook, Playwriting Seminars 2.0, widely used by playwrights, screenwriters, and literary managers in the US and Europe.
