Rhea Gavry

Gavry & Monroe Productions:
I have worked in television and film production for national broadcast for the past 21 years. I served as Series Producer/Director on the nationally syndicated reality show HomeTeam, featuring Troy McClain of the Apprentice. I was Series Producer for the 2007 Sundance Channel Festival Dailies. I also freelance as a producer for ABC News, CNN, HGTV, High Noon Entertainment, and Many television magazine shows. I am currently in post production editing on a feature documentary centered on former Salt Lake City Mayor and 2012 Presidential candidate Rocky Anderson. I am also editing a pilot for a fishing series centered on ex pats living in Mexico who live to catch and release game fish in the Sea of Cortez.

Independent Media Network:
This 501 (C) 3 private non-profit corporation (1988) assists media artists in producing and distributing their work created for the common good. Independent Media Network serves a fiscal agent for artists needing funds for production and distribution.

From July 2009 until Mid February 2011 I worked at The Art Institute of Salt Lake City as the Academic Department Director of Media Arts over the Digital Film, Digital Photography, Web Design, Animation and Game Design Departments.

Specialties: My specialties include Producing, Directing, Writing, Editing documentary verite style production. I also work as a freelance journalist writer/photographer.
