The disparate elements of my background feed my imagination, bringing life to my short fiction, novels, narrative non-fiction and most recently a screenplay. Three published books, short stories in journals, prize winning short play, an adaptation of my third book (a feminist sci-fi mystery) for the screen followed an early marketing communications and business development career, raising three daughters, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers' University Newark. The eclectic part includes travel agent, museum educator, mission commander at a Challenger Learning Center, tutor, writing workshop leader, adjunct professor, marathon finisher, workforce development specialist, anthropologist (undergrad), world traveler. Once introduced at a reading by a fellow writer who said, "I'm exhausted just reading what she's done."
Only the Women are Burning Mystery When the women begin to burst into flame in her sleepy suburban town as they go about their daily routines, Cassandra, a stay-at-home mom and lapsed scientist, steps up to solve this enviro/sci-fi/feminist mystery.
