Hi I am Chalmane Horne-Kruger, a GBV activist and survivor, CEO of ChalmaneSpeakUp!, advocating for mental health therapy through self empowerment and support amongst survivors. I am also the Chairperson of Winelands Arts Initiative working with youth and children through arts and craft therapy to develop individual talents and growth. I studied and worked as a jounalist & photographer(CPUT); I studied and worked as an Opera singer(UCT); I studied and worked as a Taxation(NWU) officer in the South African Revenue Services; I have been a PA for a Member of SA Parliament; I studied Peace Building at UCT and I studied Engaged Community Leadership at SU. I am writing my own GBV story for publication to help victims and has recently also been referred as Scouting Director for a local movie in progress.-Cape Town, South Africa
