About Dillon

Dillon C. Fuhrman is the multiple award-winning writer of Charlie Horowitz and its two chapters. Growing up, Fuhrman struggled with having Asperger’s Syndrome, but his passion for filmmaking was one of the motivating factors in overcoming his mental disability. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Letters along with a major in Radio-TV-Film.

Fuhrman began writing the first chapter in the Charlie Horowitz trilogy in between his freshman and sophomore year of college, and it took three years, multiple revisions, and peerreviews to get Charlie Horowitz to the publication stage. Fuhrman has received honors and accolades from multiple film festivals and screenwriting including the Creepy Tree Exemplar Award for Best Horror Screenplay – Feature: Best New Series and Best Paranormal Screenplay at Fright Night Film Fest.

According to an interview with Chicago Movie Magazine, Fuhrman hopes one day that he would make movies based on the genres of film he grew up watching, ranging from action, comedy, horror, and so on, and would love to be remembered as someone who “never gave up on their dream of being a filmmaker… no matter what hardships…"
