Hello – I’m an eager screenwriter who comes from the sadistically satisfying world of advertising. As far as I can tell, the two vocations are pretty much the same. There’s the angst of creating something perfect under deadline and then the soul-crushing reality that changes must be made for the sake of commerce. Of course, there’s also the groin-tingling rush of seeing your work come to life on your favorite streaming platform. Hellz yeah. Happy dance. Hit me again.
Current status: I'm prepping to launch a crowd-funding campaign for my short animated/live action film Unstuck, with production scheduled to start in 2025. Am also noodling with a new comedy feature about a writer and her Muse who must come out of retirement for one last blockbuster project. Oh, and I'm also celebrating semi-finalist status in the Stage 32 Grown Ups contest! Aside from some nasty acid reflux, life's pretty good.
Unstuck Budget: $100K - $1M | Comedy When a stick mom car decal is stripped away from her stick family at the car wash, she must take on the perils and pleasures of live-action suburbia in a transformational journey to return to her one-dimensional world.
Maggie's Wager Budget: $10M - $30M | Romance ⋄ Comedy When a dying, self-help guru who's all about honesty wants to make amends for the lies she lived, she bets on her oblivious husband and exes to carry out a secret, posthumous plan for redemption that quickly devolves into a scrappy, man-brain competition.
Breaking and Entering Comedy Two small-town, forever friends are forced to deal with their different views on growing up, and growing old, after their plan for a boozy, boujee summer in a neighborhood McMansion goes awry.
