Matteo Troncone is a Bay Area filmmaker and photographer who lived for five years in his camper van in California and in a tent in Naples, Italy to make the feature film, “Arrangiarsi (pizza…and the art of living)”, 2019, 91 minutes.
For this project, Matteo is the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, narrator, editor, and composer of two original tracks for the film, which he describes as a "non-fiction narrative".
This eight-year project is Matteo’s love letter to Naples, pizza, Italy, and the knowledge that “there is always a way".
Troncone received his B.A. in Theatre from San Francisco State University and subsequently was awarded a full fellowship to San Diego's Old Globe Theatre where he received his M.F.A.
