Juliette Cove was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 7th, 1972, of primarily Italian and French ancestry with bilingual family elders. She is daughter to Daryl Martin and Alan Quigley, a household of domestic contractors. Her father's parents, Marguerite and Malvin, resided in a house across the driveway, often yelling conversations through windows. She resided half the week with her mother's parents, Leoda Albert and Francis Martin. Leoda nurtured her creativity and cultural interests, and Francis taught her self defense learned as a WWII US Navy veteran.
Her grandmother, Leoda, taught Juliette nightly creative storytelling and of her family's unique legend. Leoda encouraged her toward acting based on Juliette's dramatic and comedic nature, and nearly photographic memory. She advised her to take career opportunity in performing arts when it is present. Juliette participated in local plays in New Orleans as a kid and also studied six years of Ballet and Tap, and Jazz dance, and performed with Helena Hosch.
In her mid-twenties, Juliette moved to New York City to study illustration and painting with School of Visual Arts, and resided primarily in the Gramercy Park neighborhood surrounding the Y2K years. In 2005, she relocated to San Francisco, California where both visual and performing arts eventually began to harmonize. In California, Juliette entered a two-year Meisner Technique acting program managed by Christy English, one of Sanford Meisner's students. She diversified studies with Shelton Studios, for stage, and with the Groundlings hosted by Guy Stevenson for Improv acting and comedy.
Juliette received a Taft-Hartley filing after being scouted for a comedy co-star role in Will You Marry Me. She joined SAG-AFTRA many years following her eligibility and after her principal role in Coyote Creek, by Emmy winning director Brian Garcia, was featured in the Cannes Film Festival. Juliette is writing screenplays and interested in principal roles, as well as collaborating with co-writers and independent film makers. She stated, " The pooches and I will move to L.A. as soon as an opportunity beneficial to my creativity is present." She lives in San Francisco with her gorgeous, loving chihuahuas.
