Omarah Lewis

Omarah, pronounced [O-mar-uh], was born in miss it on a map Toledo, Ohio but thankfully raised in Los Angeles. She is a life-long valley girl who received her B.A. in Cinema/Television Arts from Cal-State Northridge. She is also a Second City alumna who has perfected the art of “yes, and’ing” herself.

As a previous staff writer and creative consultant on BETHer’s “Beauty and the Baller” she is looking for more opportunities to be staffed on half-hour comedies. Omarah is also well versed in creating short-form content.

In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi, traveling around California to perfect the art of the staycation, and scouring LA for the best Thai iced tea. She enjoys shows like Ramy, Raising Dion, Bob’s Burgers, and P-Valley. She is also patiently waiting on another Outkast album.
