About Simone
I’m Simone, I was born in Milan, Italy in 1998. I graduated in Media Languages (Cinema and Audiovisuals) at Università Cattolica of Milan. During the three-year course I also attended a summer session at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) where I took classes and exams of directing and cinematography. After the graduation I took a master degree in Cinematographic ideation and production at the same university in Milan, where I had the opportunity to make a lot of filmmaking practice, from pre-production to filming and post-production. This master gave me the possibility to work as an intern of the directing department on the set of an Italian tv series called “Marta & Eva”, where I had the role of a 3rd or 2nd assistant director. After that, I had another experience as an intern supporting the directing department on the set of the film “L’ultima notte di Amore”, directed by Andrea di Stefano and produced by Indiana Production. I also wrote and directed some short films, as university projects and on my own, gaining some awards from international festivals. I’m looking for job experiences all around the world and I’m available to apply for positions in the directing department.
