U.S. Army Special Troops Veteran and has served as a CableACE Awards Judge, NIMA Awards Judge, member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and the International Television Symposium on New Technologies (Digital High Definition Television), Montreux, Switzerland. Was a Founding Member of the California Cable Television Association Cablecasting Committee, is a former Voting Member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and is a current voting member of the GRAMMY Recording Academy and NARIP, National Association of Record Industry Professionals.
