Unfortunately, in the scuffle Killer’s mask falls off. On their way-out Panzy and Funny Man grab Killer for their getaway, but not without a scolding, and kill the security guard.
Back at the base of operation Fischer throws a tantrum because of the growing attention rival villain The Bookie has been getting. Circuit calms him down and urges him to up the stakes. Once the rest of the heist team return to the base, Killer slinks away with Ginger and Funny Man to avoid punishment from Fischer. The three of them race on skyscraper building tops to blow off steam, Killer veers away from them to see Shandra. He tells her about his failure at the heist, and the two of them fantasize about leaving town and their affiliations.
Killer is found by Funny Man and Ginger, and informed that Fischer wants to talk with him. Killer reluctantly goes back. Back at the base Fischer pulls Killer aside and guilts Killer for his failure at the heist. Fischer reminds Killer of when he was eleven, and taken under Fischer’s wing after he killed his own brother. Killer remembers the night when an argument with his annoying brother Derek initiated him to try to ditch his brother in the sewers and indirectly caused his brother to slip into the sewer line and into the depths under the city, never to be seen from again.
Circuit interrupts their conversation, to let Fischer know that a superhero is coming to town to take out The Bookie. The Bookie takes over the airways at the sound of a superhero and relishes in the challenge. After some talking down, Circuit and Panzy convince Fischer to kill The Bookie now before a superhero comes to town and catches wind of their operation. Fischer agrees, and after Panzy traces the tv signal Fischer prepares his Outcasts to kill The Bookie.
Before the Outcasts are about to head out. Fischer convinces Killer to be the getaway driver, despite his insecurities and uncomfortable attitude towards violent crime. Fischer’s Outcasts execute stealth and speed as they encroach on The Bookie. Funny Man gives away the operation by clumsily making noise, and The Bookie begins to flee. Fischer and Panzy pursue him with Killer as the driver. After twists and turns, they finally pin The Bookie down, but right as Panzy is about to shoot him, the new superhero team: The Dragon and The Drake arrive on the scene. Fischer calls to retreat, and the Outcasts get away. But not before The Drake grabs Killer by the scruff of his jacket and attempts to pull him out of the moving vehicle, but in the moment Killer is face to face with The Drake, Killer mutters, “Derek?”
