Hi there! My name is Noah and I'm a writer/director who likes exploring stories about parent-child relationships, human connection, and larger, philosophical and moral ideas through strong characters. At the moment, I am particularly drawn to the young-adult, and science fiction/fantasy genres. I have experience in screenwriting, filmmaking, and a variety of other odd jobs, including sustainable agriculture and Kinesiology. As described by Hayao Miyazaki, I would like to tell stories that show people "it's good to be alive;" to see the good with the bad, the pain with the joy, and appreciate it all.
I laugh a lot. Let’s chat!
Unique traits: - I have been to over 20 countries, including spending all four years of middle school in The Netherlands, and volunteering in Zambia, Swaziland, and Chengdu. - Son of a 1st-generation Korean immigrant father, and German/American mother - Double majored in Filmmaking and Environmental Studies in undergrad, was recognized by the U.S. Government in 2023 for my environmental work (National Udall Scholar) - Was globally ranked in Mario Kart in 5th grade. I believe this speaks greatly to my competitiveness, attention to detail, and charisma, or perhaps just my lack of clout in middle school.
