I live on the edge of the Alaskan wilderness in a small rural community - population 1,000 people and 6,000 sled dogs. I've been writing one thing or another for 35 years - newspapers, magazines, blogs, books, etc. My days are spent taking care of the sled dogs, gardening, fishing, hunting, foraging and of course, writing. Before moving to Alaska, I lived in a canvas wall tent in the wilderness, with my nearest neighbor 100 miles away. I am a person who is content with who I am and with my own company.
I'm new to scriptwriting and am excited to give it a try. Although my husband pointed out that if I were to sell a script and it was successful, I'd have to travel to a big city (I wonder if a stunt double is possible....joking....sort of). In the meantime, I'll continue living my best Alaskan life and writing the stories that wander through my brain.
