Veda Smith

Ms. Smith is the CEO of DogSled Productions and DogSled Music Group(DMG). She wanted to create a platform for independent artists in music, television, and film to work hand in hand creating opportunities that never existed before. She is an Executive Member of W.I.F. (Women In Film) in LA. Ms. Smith is the writer, producer, and creator of the television show Totally Packaged. Her production and financing partnerships have aligned with Bungalow Entertainment, Dick Clark Productions and EJD Productions of Fashion Star, Capitol Pacific Group (CPG) which has raised over $30 billion of direct client financing.
Presently she has several projects in development with her production partner Bungalow Entertainment. Recently announced, Ms. Smith is a Producer for ‘Little Richard: I Am Everything’: Rolling Stone And Bungalow developing a documentary about the music icon, Dee Rees To Executive Produce, and Lisa Cortes Directing, Producer for When We Pray co-written by Jamie Foxx, Producer on the Life story of My Haley, Alex Haley’s widow and the Life story of Fannie Brown James Browns sister.
She has been an advisor and provided funding resources for major TV/Film projects. Ms. Smith has positioned DogSled Music Group to also have strategic partnerships with Harry Fox, MVD Distribution, Believe Distribution (International), Isotope Music, Sound Republica (South Korea - Exclusive), SUGO, Jungle House (Ghana), and more. The music industry has aligned her to attach Grammy-winning Producers who have produced mega stars like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, JLo, Biggie Smalls, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Ice T, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and many more to the label.
In addition, Ms. Smith has worked with major talent agencies and companies securing major corporate sponsorship for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight, NBA All-Star Weekend, Snoop Dog Puff Puff Pass Tour, Super Bowl Bash, LA Fashion Week, and more. In addition to her vast background, she is currently a Co-Founder of the Non-profit Organization Youth Vision Inc. She is a BMI member. Her background in operations and corporate management stems from years of experience with Hitman Records as VP of Operations and Regional Supervisor on of the largest weight loss companies in the United States.
