Alexander Gillison

Alexander James Gillison was born in Sussex in 1985. He achieved a first class honours performance arts degree from Brighton University having been privately trained since the age of eight by a teacher from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Over the years, the training and acting work Alexander has undertaken in a variety of roles, as a musician and actor, has given him confidence and presence on stage as well as in front of a camera. Alex has been commended for his dedicated, hard-working and professional manner. He takes direction well and is a sound actor who can sustain a variety of accents, ranging from English public school, to American to cockney. In addition, Alex is a singer and guitarist, fronting his band Dirty Jaguar on national tours. Alex has worked on many musical projects from composing music, to writing lyrics and producing film scores. As well as being competent in a variety of sports, Alexander trained in competitive fencing from a young age. Now training in several martial arts disciplines (Arnis Pilipino Stick Fighting, Freestyle, KFM Keysi Fighting Method and XMA Performance Martial Arts) Alexander will receive his Black belt in freestyle Martial Arts in December 2013.
