Mick Hale is a writer, composer, and producer, who is passionate about creativity. He's won over 500 awards for his work including, Clios, Radio Mercurys, Cannes Lions, Annie Awards, London International Festival, One Show, Creative Arts, and Mobius. With 30 years of experience in the entertainment and marketing industry, he just completed his memoir, The Diplomat's Son, for Lakeside Publishers, co-wrote the hit song Bandy-Bandy, with Zap Mama and Erykah Badu, composed music for 100+ episodes of Disney's Chuggington.
He's currently creating 'Song in Space' – a podcast series about a group of busking kids who travel in space.
"I'm innovating ways to create and test original IP at a much lower cost. By beginning with audio drama we can refine creative and build community before we commit to more expensive live-action, animation, and video game development. Audio drama is also the center of my skill set, with hundreds of audio scripts under my belt."
Unique traits: I began my career as an apprentice in BBC Radio and then built a global company focused on a magical blend of scripts, sound design, music, and mix. Every artist begins somewhere, and I begin by 'hearing' my work.
