Rich Marino

Intrigued by filmmaking at an early age I started shooting 8mm films and projecting them to friends and family. 

My formal education started with television courses in high school then continuing at The New School in Manhattan shooting film and editing on a Steenbeck.  From that time on I worked professionally at a production companies producing and editing at production companies in NYC and Boston. My career has also included camera operation in professional sports broadcasting.

Driven by a passion for cinematography I continued training and have had the privilege of learning from honored members of the American Society of Cinematographers. 

My experience as cinematographer has included features, documentaries, commercials, sports, music videos and museum presentations.

Because of recent physical limitations I have transitioned into post production, more specifically color grading. Gaining this experience has turned out to be inspirational and exciting, it allows me to utilize my acquired creative skills.
