About Charmain
After graduating from an Arts high school, Charmain Johnson received received her bachelor’s degree in Communications specializing in film and video from Florida Atlantic University in 2005 and went on to receive a Masters Degree in Creative Writing/Screenwriting. Originally from Miami Florida, she is now relocated to Los Angeles California where she teaches film. Johnson has been a winner of the California Film Awards, finalist in the Urbanworld Teleplay Competition, finalist in BET’s Wrap it Up Screenplay Competition. She has received Official Selection for The Peachtree Village International Film Festival and Official Selection for the Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards.
