As most screenwriters already know, it doesn't pay the bills until your an accomplished writer. In the meantime; I'm an electronics expert by day, screenwriter by night. I own a custom theater installation company designing and building cinema rooms in the mansions around Western, NY- it pays the bills, but I'm always looking for a new creative outlet.
