Producer, director, and screenwriter. Gianluca is the president and founder of Lightless. He has an innate passion for the seventh art, which led him to study at the Stefano Jurgens Screenwriting Academy in 2012, where he formed a friendship with the renowned screenwriter Alessandro Zambrini (La mia casa è piena di specchi, Cuori rubati), with whom he still collaborates. He graduated from DAMS at the University of Roma Tre, writing his thesis project with the professor and director Vito Zagarrio. His first work is "Utility Fog," a short film starring Justine Mattera, which competed at the David di Donatello Awards. He directed the music video "Sei di mattina" by Briga, which won the Vodafone Amici Video Talent on the Amici di Maria De Filippi program in 2015, where he also won a scholarship to the New York Film Academy for a Filmmaking course. In 2015, he competed with another short film, "Eyes," at the David di Donatello Awards, which was among the top 10 short films of the year according to FICE. In June 2016, he won the Rai Cinema Channel award at the Tulipani di Seta Nera Festival with the short film "Il Fanatico." For 4 years, he served as the Chief Product Officer at Exeest Inc., where he developed a tool to streamline the distribution of film content in the film market.
