About Ryan

Hey everyone! You already know the basics about me. Name, where I live, what career aspects I have. However, you don't know why I want to do screenwriting. Well, it's quite simple. I remember during the rougher years of life when it felt like the whole world was crashing down on top of me sitting down and watching my favorite movie thinking "Now here is someone who gets it. Someone who understands what I'm going through and how to fix it."

That's what I want to give to the world. I want to write for the person that sits down in their seat, thinking the world has no idea what it is like to be in their situation, and give them that moment of hope that there is someone out there who understands, even for just a little bit, what it is like to be them.

If you're someone like that, then you're someone who I would love to meet. I personally think that what makes the difference between people who dabble with a pen and a camera and actual film makers. Purpose and true passion.

Unique traits: Honest - I'm not afraid to speak my mind and tell you the things that other people are too scared to tell you. Hardworking - I am determined to not only finish projects I set my mind to, but to finish them completely until I think they are as good as they can be. Empathic - I understand people and the suffering they have gone through, making it to where my characters are well-rounded and real. Observant - I see the world for both what it is and what it can be, allowing for more realistic storytelling.
