Jack Dempsey

New England native born 1955 with twin passions for ancient Greece and Early America. 10 years+ a happily part-time English prof at Bentley University. New York publishing 1980s incl 2 years living in Crete to publish "Ariadne's Brother" (1996); Brown University Ph.D. in Early American Studies 1998; biographer/editor of Thomas Morton of Merrymount's 1637 "New English Canaan."
